Prince George, son of Prince William of the United Kingdom and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, today celebrates his third birthday. The happy occasion is marked by the release of Royal Portraits by Matt Porteous, an esteemed photographer, on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Kensington Palace released the photographs of Prince George on Twitter early this morning on behalf of the Cambridge family. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said, “The Duke and Duchess hope that people will enjoy seeing these new photographs. They would like to thank everyone for all the lovely messages they have received as Prince George celebrates his third birthday.”

The candid lifestyle photography session was conducted on the grounds of Anmer Hall, the Norfolk home of the Cambridge family in the east of England.
The photographer, Matt Porteous, said in a statement that he was honored to be part of the occasion: “I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.”
