Johnny Depp and Amber Heald Blackmailed into Filming Public Service Message for Australia

Newlyweds Amber Heard and Johnny Depp recently released a video both promoting and apologizing to the Australian government’s Biosecurity force.  The video was allegedly the result of blackmail on the part of the Australian government, which previously threatened to murder the film star couple’s two pet terrier dogs, who entered the country without being declared on an immigration form – an offense against Australian law.

In this video, Amber explains that Australia is beautiful, and biologically important and it is therefore imperative to protect it, by properly declaring all items on your immigration forms when entering the country.  Her husband, sitting stone-faced and appearing displeased beside her, echoed her sentiments while seated beside her.  Unflattering lighting and camera angle were both employed in the video’s production, perhaps to further the effect of public shame that the spirit of the video suggests.

“What I can say is, although I don’t think he’ll get an Academy Award for his performance, the fact that he did it…” said Joyce, explaining the Australian government’s position on the  matter, “at the end of it- we’ve got a message that is going all around the world right now.”  Indeed, it is likely anyone planning a trip to Australia at the moment will take notice, as are the four and a half million others who have already viewed the video message on YouTube.

Titillatingly, Joyce did add that the acclaimed actor Johnny Depp, “looked like he was auditioning for the Godfather,” an observation likely due to his stoic, severe demeanor and intonation.  However, Joyce also reiterated his main objective, “It’s going off like a frog in a sock telling people that if you come into this nation and you don’t obey our laws, you’re in trouble. That’s what this is about.”

Considering last year Joyce publicly threatened to murder the Depp couples’ dogs, it’s not unreasonable that people are assuming the film stars filmed the video under a direct threat or blackmail, potentially to save the very lives of the dogs in question.  Joyce issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the couple to get the dogs out of the country last year, and they did so, but allegedly with only hours to spare.

“Mr. Depp needs to take his dogs back to California, or we’re going to have to euthanize them,” Joyce said at the time.  It was Amber, however, who rushed the dogs back out of the country again, as her husband is busy filming the fifth version of Pirates of the Carribean.

Was the video filmed under a similar threat of canine violence?  It is an intriguing and befuddling tale, the full details of which the public may never know.  One thing is known in hindsight though, during this entire canine fiasco Johnny Depp was physically and emotionally abusing his young wife Amber Heard, which resulted in their dramatic divorce not long after the events with their dogs.
